LONELY HEARTS by Laura Benedict is a supernatural suspense, a genre that I only touch lightly here at Fantasy Debut. Usually, I like heroic tales of high adventure, which this book is decidedly not.

But I loved it anyway. I couldn't put it down/5(5). Random Acts of Heroic Love is in the top 10 books I have ever read. I am slightly amazed that it is not more highly regarded or that it has not been filmed yet. It is really two books in one.

Both strands are wonderful. Try reading the opening of the book with dry itself this is a major achievement to draw the reader in so quickly/5. The title of the book comes from a poem by William Sharp, with the lines "But my heart is a lonely hunter that hunts / On a lonely hill." What is the significance of the title.
